Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit with a compact CO license and at least 1 year of recent PCU experience required.

Details

• 345-bed Magnet-designated hospital setting on the PC2 Progressive Care unit
• Large cardiac patient population with two Tele floors and a PCU
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both day and night shifts
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Floating required to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

Requirements

• Active RN license, compact CO license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Chemo/ONC certification preferred, enabling scheduling on the Oncology unit
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide care to patients with varied acute and chronic medical issues across cardiac, telemetry, and progressive care units
• Team-oriented environment with an emphasis on flexibility, compassion, and willingness to float
• Strong learning opportunity for nurses to expand clinical skills across multiple unit types
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
