American Traveler is seeking an experienced Float Pool RN for a Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with floating across Medical, Cardiology, and Surgical units.
Requirements
- Active WA or Compact RN license required
- Active certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Preferred certifications: CPI and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Strong float pool experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience maintaining a 1:5 patient ratio
Responsibilities
- Float Pool RN role rotating between Medical, Cardiology, and Surgical units
- Adult patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:5 on all shifts and weekends
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00-19:00
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Floating between units is required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Pyxis medication dispensing system in use
- First-time travelers will be considered if they have strong prior float pool experience
- Previous PeaceHealth employees (travel or permanent) should disclose prior facility and dates of employment
- All required certifications must be active at time of consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
- Any time-off or scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of submission
