American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift acute care position requiring 3+ years of experience and the ability to interpret cardiac strips.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
Responsibilities
- Acute care unit housing ICU, Telemetry, and Med/Surg patients
- Float between Telemetry and Med/Surg required, staying within scope of ability
- May float to ICU if the nurse has relevant experience
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Uses TruBridge - Evident EMR
- One shift of floor-specific orientation provided
- Scrub color required: royal blue
- Holiday coverage not typically required for travelers but may vary based on scheduling needs
