American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Float Pool position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum two years of specialty experience required
- No prior license actions permitted
Responsibilities
- Float Pool unit requiring coverage of both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
- Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues
- Develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates patient outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
- Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations per organizational policy, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction, and local rates match travel rates
