Travel RN - Pediatrics

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a MA RN license.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute care pediatric unit serving patients from neonatal period through age 21
• 45-bed unit treating a diverse population with medical, surgical, oncology, trauma, orthopedic, and behavioral health diagnoses
• Expected patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule, 7pm-7:30am, 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week
• May float to Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Continuing Care Nursery
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team supporting a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels
