American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with charge experience and pediatric surgical background to support a variety of surgical specialties.
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
- Charge nurse experience required
- Pediatric OR experience preferred
- Ability to scrub preferred but not required
- Office surgery experience not accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room at a pediatric hospital
- Surgical specialties include Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eyes
- Schedule includes Monday through Friday shifts, offered as a combination of 8s and 10s (no 12-hour shifts)
- Uses Epic EMR
- Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
- Facility is nicotine-free and requires nicotine and drug screening
- Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted
- RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
