American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and active MI RN licensure.

- Active MI RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Experience with general, ortho, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology cases required
- Experience in Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU required
- BSN not required
Responsibilities
- Acute care setting in the Operating Room (OR) unit, also covering Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU
- 4 OR suites, 3 run concurrently, averaging 9 cases per day
- Common cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc)
- Day shifts, 8 hours, starting between 0545 and 0900 and ending between 1345 and 1700
- Call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, approximately 5 days per month
- Weekday call runs ; weekend call runs Friday 1430 to Monday 0630
- Must be available to work shifts and call during the holiday season 12/24/2026-1/4/2027
- Must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases during call
- Floating required to cover Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU
- Uses Paragon EMR
- One week of unit/department specific orientation provided
- Scrubs provided by the hospital; RNs are not required to scrub in
- Schedule is built by the manager; no self-scheduling
- Must clock in and out at the facility
- Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local with a reduced bill rate
- Former Marshfield employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
