American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a CO or compact RN license and the flexibility to float to General OR.
Requirements
- Active RN license, single state or Compact, CO or compact license required
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required, must not expire prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the CVOR specialty required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts with variable scheduling
- Must be willing and able to flex to General OR based on business need
- On-call responsibilities required during scheduled shifts
- Uses Epic for charting
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care
- Provides health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Returning permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
