American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level 1 trauma and Epic experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a large hospital setting.
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Large hospital experience required
- Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season
Responsibilities
- Operating Room unit in a large hospital setting with Level 1 trauma designation
- 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- Call requirements approximately 3x per month, including overnight and weekend shifts (11pm-7am, 7pm-11pm, 6am-6:30pm, or 6:30pm-6:30am)
- Case experience required across most services, especially transplant, cardiac, and vascular procedures
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical services including transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
