American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.
Requirements
- Active RN license issued by the State of California
- BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required within six months of hire
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- CCRN certification encouraged
- No prior adverse actions on license accepted for consideration
Responsibilities
- Work in the Medical ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 1800 to 0630
- No on-call requirements
- Requires EPIC experience
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the ICU patient population
- Maintain quality, efficient, and safe standards of care consistent with unit protocols
- Demonstrate flexibility with changing systems and professional conduct with staff, physicians, and patients
- Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
- Comply with facility vaccination requirements as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
