American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- NIHSS and Nursys documentation required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Medical Surgical unit setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee
- Required to float between MS units
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
- Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
- Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
- RTO must be submitted with the application or finalized prior to accepting an offer
- License must be in-hand prior to start date
- Clinicians must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer
- Orientation includes 2-3 hours of modules completed within the first 16 hours
