Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active NV RN license and at least one year of recent travel nursing experience.

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the Med/Surg Tele specialty
• Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required
• AHA-issued certifications required
• CPI certification required for Behavioral/Psych patients

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele unit (Sierra 1) within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule over a 13-week assignment
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Uses Epic EMR with training provided during orientation or test-out option available
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Minimum coverage of 2 major holidays required
• RTO must be submitted with initial application and cannot be added at the end of the contract
• Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after completing a prior contract at this facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if licensure requirements are met
