Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active MA RN license.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required for floating assignments
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Responsibilities

• Float Pool position covering Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
• 36 hours per week over a 4-week assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Self-scheduling process with staffing coordinator balancing the schedule
• Med/Surg ratios are 5:1 (7a-11p) and 6:1 (11p-7a)
• Telemetry ratios are 4:1 (7a-11p) and 5:1 (11p-7a)
• Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed based on staffing needs
• No guaranteed RTO for this assignment
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• No separation from BILH required for current travelers
• First-time travelers may be considered
