American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (charge RN references accepted, co-worker references not accepted)
Responsibilities
- Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Assignment length of 18 weeks with 13-week contracts also considered
- Required to work at least every other holiday
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with a passing score required on both
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
- Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
