American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Infusion position requiring NE or compact licensure and 2+ years of experience, with high preference for chemo-certified nurses.
Requirements
- Active NE or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BSN not required for this position
- High preference for Chemo Certified nurses
- Must pass a pass/fail open-book skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%
- Driver's license required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Outpatient Infusion Therapy unit within an acute care, Level 1 trauma hospital
- Approximately 50 patients seen per day with a desired staffing of 6-7 RNs daily
- Duties include infusion of chemo, antibiotics, blood, iron, and fluids, as well as various injections
- Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (mostly 9:00 AM-5:30 PM)
- No call requirements
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Assignment located at the CUMC Bergan campus only
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove will result in contract termination
