American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Infusion Therapy position requiring excellent IV placement skills and an active IL RN license.
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required in hand
- Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be accepted
- Excellent IV placement skills required
- Nursys report required, pulled within the last 2 weeks
- No license hits allowed
Responsibilities
- Work in the Infusion unit of a hospital setting
- Responsibilities include IV placement, lab draws, and administering blood products and hydration
- Chemotherapy administration is not required
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Uses Epic EMR
- Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
- RTO limited to no more than 3 days, with no RTO during the first or last week of the contract
- Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have been separated for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
- Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be submitted at the time of submittal and discussed during the interview process
