American Traveler is hiring an RN Hospice Case Manager for a home health setting requiring prior hospice experience and a VA or compact RN license.
Requirements
- Active VA RN license in hand, or proof of compact license, required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Prior hospice experience in a home health setting required
- Specialty experience within the last year required
Responsibilities
- Home health hospice case manager role
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating may be requested based on facility needs
- Serve as case manager coordinating hospice care for patients in the home health setting
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Prior permanent employees must have a 6-month gap in employment before returning as a traveler
- Keep requested time off to a minimum, ideally no full calendar weeks off and no more than 7 total days during the assignment
- All time-off requests must be submitted with initial application and confirmed prior to assignment start
