American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with an active AK license and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 16-week contract.

Requirements

  • Active AK RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required, 5+ years preferred
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Med/Surg unit setting
  • Day shift, 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend coverage required as needed
  • Holiday coverage required as needed
  • Floating required as neededNo on-call requirements
  • 16-week contract length
  • Requires fingerprinting submission to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
  • 1-bedroom housing provided for a single occupant, pets not permitted
  • A vehicle is recommended due to winter conditions
