American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Acute Care Inpatient Oncology unit requiring recent specialty experience and GA or compact RN licensure.
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required
Responsibilities
- Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Med/Surg unit
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, varying 7am-7pm schedule
- No on-call responsibilities
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested at the time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
