American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OB/GYN position requiring day/night rotating shifts and the ability to float to Med/Surg when the OB unit is closed.
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required
- OB/GYN nursing experience required
- Med/Surg experience required, as floating to that unit is expected
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an OB/GYN unit within a hospital setting
- Required to float to Med/Surg when the OB unit is closed
- Schedule is day/night rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
- 72 hours per two-week pay period
- Every third weekend required
- 13-week contract
- Provide nursing care to OB/GYN patients, and to Med/Surg patients when floating
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
