American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Antepartum position requiring 2+ years of high-risk L&D/Antepartum experience and intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact license required (temporary license not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery or Antepartum experience
- Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
- ACLS and RNC certifications preferred
- Experience managing magnesium sulfate and preterm labor required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Responsibilities
- Antepartum unit within a newly renovated Women's Services department, 19 beds
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shift, 7P-7A, 13-week assignment
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
- Floating as needed to fill vacancies
- Charting via Meditech and CPIN (Meditech experience preferred)
- Provide specialized care for high-risk obstetric and antepartum patients, including magnesium sulfate and preterm labor management
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
- Blue insignia scrubs required for RNs
- Strict grooming and appearance standards including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing policies
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Holiday coverage requirements to be discussed during interview
