Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position including Post-Partum and Baby Unit, requiring a VT or compact license and 5+ years of experience.

Details

• Combined Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit assignment within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Floating required to other units, including covering overflow from the Progressive Care Unit

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required, obtainable upon acceptance
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and NRP

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit settings
• Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border
• Area offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
• Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
• Support provided throughout transition into the role and community
• Required to attend department quarterly education sessions
