American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift hospital role requiring high-risk antepartum care experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact state RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Basic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Minimum of 12 months permanent Labor and Delivery experience required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, dated within the past 12 months
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Labor and Delivery/Antepartum unit
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- Provides high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients requiring closer monitoring, including preeclampsia, preterm labor, vaginal bleeding, placental issues, and multiple gestations
- Provides specialized antepartum monitoring and care for high-risk pregnancies
- Travelers expected to work every other holiday
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Permanent employees may not return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
