American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a community hospital night shift role requiring an OH or compact license and at least 2 years of recent L&D experience.
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous Labor and Delivery experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Two recent supervisory references required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Community hospital setting within the Labor and Delivery unit
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Must be willing to float to two additional campuses within the health system as needed
- On-call responsibilities require arrival at the hospital within 1 hour when called in
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Provide nursing care within a smoke-free hospital and campus environment
- Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules through HealthStream prior to start
- Facility does not accept time off requests for major holidays
- Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before reapplying for a travel position
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
