American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Work in a 24-bed high risk obstetrical labor and delivery unit within a Women's Hospital setting
- Care for high acuity OB patients including cervical ripening, triage, postpartum mag, laboring mag, and active labor cases
- Follows AWHONN staffing ratios approximately 80% of the time (cervical ripening 2:1, triage 3:1, stable PP mag 2:1, unstable/laboring mag 1:1, pit/active labor 1:1, early labor 2:1)
- Uses GE fetal monitors
- Documents in Meditech and CPN
- 3x12-hour night shifts per week, 7p-7a
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating to the antepartum unit within Women's Services as needed
- Call requirements to be discussed during interview
