American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ICU/PCU RN requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
- Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory reference required at time of consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required
Responsibilities
- Resource Pool/Float position covering ICU and PCU units
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
- Contribute professional clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for full travel rate eligibility, though local candidates may be accepted with a 10% rate reduction
- Holiday coverage required, including working 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
- Limited time-off requests accepted during peak holiday periods
- First-time travelers may be considered if minimum experience requirements are met
