American Traveler is hiring an RN - ICU Float for a day shift position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience required
- EPIC charting experience required and must be noted in employment history
Responsibilities
- Float pool position within the ICU
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 36s or 48s
- EPIC experience required
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction, and local rates match travel rates
