American Traveler is hiring an RN ICU Float for a Magnet-designated hospital, requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.


Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BLS certification from an approved vendor required (AHA preferred)
  • ACLS and PALS certification required
  • Minimum three years of recent ICU experience required
  • BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Responsibilities

  • Float pool position within the ICU setting
  • Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
  • 36-48 hours per week
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned ICU patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
  • Implement and evaluate individualized care plans to promote health and safety
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, coordinated care
  • Participate in discharge planning and delegate tasks appropriately among team members
  • Located in a Magnet-designated hospital known for excellence in nursing care
  • Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical or religious exemptions considered
  • Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
  • RTO limited to 5 days or fewer for consideration
