American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position requiring CRRT/IABP experience in a 20-bed medical ICU.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
- CRRT and IABP experience required
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety devices
- Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of date of birth required for consideration
Responsibilities
- 20-bed medical ICU setting with 2:1 patient ratios
- Care for patients with cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, and post-surgical needs
- Provides continuous dialysis (CRRT) and supports invasive bedside procedures
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3x12 (36 hours/week)
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across all phases of the nursing process
- Perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordination with the interprofessional team
- Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, including discharge teaching and case management coordination
- Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measures tracking
- Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate
