American Traveler is hiring an ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment requiring EPIC experience and OH or compact RN licensure.
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required (license in hand not required to apply, but must be obtained before contract start)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required (firm requirement)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips, including for trachs
- Must pass an online EKG/tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- No history of license disciplinary action accepted
- Current Nursys report required at submission
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
- 13 or 18 week winter contract options available
- Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Floating required at facility discretion, potentially to main campus, south campus, or north campus locations within 10-15 miles, including to high-risk respiratory/COVID units
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census
- Travel experience preferred
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Maximum RTO of 14 days allowed per contract; must be requested at initial submission and cannot be added after an offer is made
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
- Previous PERM/PRN staff or prior agency travelers not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before reapplying, subject to facility rehire approval
- Travelers are not eligible for facility employee incentives
