American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with Level 1 trauma experience for a critical care float pool position requiring an active MA license.
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- BLS/CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of related ICU work experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
Responsibilities
- Critical Care Float Pool unit within the PCS department
- Medical ICU patient population
- 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), 36 hours per week
- Floating required across the critical care float pool
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
- Care provided within a Level 1 trauma academic medical center setting
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu shot (medical exemptions allowed)
- Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required depending on campus
- Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed, with no holiday RTO approved
- All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius, as local candidates are not accepted for this role
