Travel RN Float Pool - Cardiac Telemetry / Step-Down / ICU - $2,511 per week

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Rockford, Illinois.

We are seeking an experienced RN to join the Float Pool, providing care in Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, and ICU units. The ideal candidate will have extensive cardiac experience and be flexible to work in different settings as needed, including floating to Medical Surgical units.

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Assignment starts quickly
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2511 (negotiable)
• 3x12-hour shifts per week

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Document care according to standards.
• Develop and execute patient care plans based on individualized needs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units.
• Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and escalate as necessary.

Required:

• ICU experience
• Current IL License
• CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
• Extensive cardiac experience
