American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital setting, requiring BSN and inpatient case management experience.
Requirements
- Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required
- BSN required
- CCMC certification preferred
- 2+ years of acute care experience strongly preferred
- Inpatient Case Management experience required
- Managed Care and Case Management skills required
Responsibilities
- Inpatient Case Management department within an acute care hospital
- AM shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Uses Epic for charting
- Floating to sister hospital nearby as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Coordinate patients through their acute care hospitalization
- Manage all aspects of discharge planning and transition process
- Perform utilization management and quality screenings
- Local candidates accepted
- Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning
