American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Stepdown unit requiring 2 years of cardiac experience and active BLS/ACLS certifications.

Requirements

  • Active RN license (TN or compact) currently in hand, pending licenses not accepted
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Cardiac Procedural Care Unit (5W)
  • Patient ratio of 4:1
  • Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, rotating start times between 4:30am and 7-8pm
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No weekend requirements specified
  • Provide nursing care within a cardiac stepdown/procedural care setting
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Local candidates accepted if residing 35+ miles from the facility
