American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for adult respiratory care services requiring an active NV RRT license and 2+ years of specialty experience.
Requirements
- Active NV RRT license required for RRTs; RNs without a temp or perm license may be considered but must apply promptly upon offer
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the respiratory therapy specialty
- Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required prior to consideration
- AHA certifications required; CPI certification required for behavioral/psych cases
- License required if applicable
Responsibilities
- Adult patient population within a Respiratory Care Services department
- 13-week contract length
- Uses EPIC for charting, with training provided during orientation or option to test out
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 major holidays
- Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after completing a prior contract before being eligible again
- Requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of consideration and will not be added to the end of the contract
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
