American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring 3+ years of current RRT experience at a teaching hospital.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRTs will not be considered
- Minimum 3 years of current RRT experience required
- Massachusetts RRT license required if applicable
- Active NBRC certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation to and from the assignment
Responsibilities
- Respiratory Therapy unit at a teaching hospital
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required if scheduled/needed, including two full holiday blocks (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year periods)
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- Work as part of the respiratory therapy team providing patient care across a full continuum of medical specialties
- Facility does not consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Permanent address must be provided during profile submission
- All time off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of profile submission; requests made after offer will not be approved
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, with fewer days preferred
- Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work specified holiday blocks if scheduled
