Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a full-service hospital in Fort Worth, TX.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy department within a full-service hospital setting
- Cares for patients of all age ranges including neonatal population
- Night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week assignment with Tuesday start dates
- Uses Meditech documentation system
- Performs ABGs, assists with intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT
Requirements
- Active RRT license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Advanced 9th Edition) certification required for staff caring for neonates
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
- NICU experience required
- ICU and ED experience required
- Ability to draw ABGs
- Experience with Servo I ventilator preferred
- Experience with I-Stat device preferred
- No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care to patients across all age ranges, including neonates in the NICU
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Black scrubs required (purchase required by traveler)
- Must maintain clean, neat appearance per facility dress code including hair, nails, and tattoo/piercing guidelines
- No local candidates accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
