Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to cover ED and inpatient units at a Level IV facility, requiring current AZ licensure and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Covers both Emergency Department and inpatient units
- 22 inpatient beds and 9 ED beds
- Level IV facility
- Uses Medhost charting system
- One RRT staffed per shift covering med unit, ED, and outpatient
- Equipment includes LTV-1200 ventilators, Vision BiPAP, and BAN nebulizers for breathing treatments
- Alternating 3/12s schedule
- Shift hours from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Graduate of a CoARC or approved Respiratory Care program
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Current AZ license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- CPI certification required within 3 months of start
- NRP certification required within 6 months of start
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care services across ED and inpatient med unit settings
- Work independently as the sole RRT on shift covering multiple units
- COVID vaccine not required
