Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience requiredn
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential requiredn
• NRP certification requiredn
• BLS through AHA requiredn
• Experience in Level II NICU, Level III NICU, or special care nursery preferredn
• Delivery room experience preferredn
• Ability to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapyn
• High school diploma or GED requiredn
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environmentn

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret respiratory tests and procedures to support neonatal patient caren
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the NICUn
• Provide respiratory care protocols and treatments with a high level of independencen
• Manage ventilation support, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medication administrationn
• Support neonatal patients in a birthing hospital NICU and related clinical areasn
• Deliver compassionate, accurate, and timely respiratory care for fragile newbornsn
