Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal nursing care for critically ill and high-acuity infants in a Level III NICU
• Monitor and interpret infant vital signs, respiratory status, and hemodynamics; assist with ventilator or respiratory support as needed
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Document care, progress notes, and plans using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and social work to coordinate care
• Support families with education, discharge planning, and transition to appropriate care levels

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Jersey or a compact state at time of submission
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a Level III NICU environment and care for critically ill neonates
• Ability to work the listed night shift and meet scheduling requirements
