Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret rhythms, and respond to dysrhythmias promptly
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per physician orders and hospital protocol
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document in the electronic health record, and update care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case management, and other team members to coordinate patient care
• Float to related MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed to support patient throughput and bed placement

Requirements

• Current, valid Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association), AHABLS certification
• Ability to pass Telemetry competency exam during onboarding (one attempt)
• Willingness to float to other MS Tele floors and overflow areas
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development and ability to work within a hospital telemetry setting
