Overview

Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,168 per week to $2,260 per week. This position supports a high-acuity ICU unit that provides intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients who have experienced shock, trauma, or other life‑threatening conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients in line with established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status; recognize and respond to deterioration; initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and operate or supervise life-support equipment as clinically indicated.
• Supervise and direct activities of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust individualized care plans; ensure continuity of care across shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety, quality of care, and infection prevention practices.

• Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU setting with critically ill patients
• Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
• Availability to start on or before the stated start date
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable coordinating with multiple disciplines
