Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) requiring 1+ years of experience and at least one successfully completed travel assignment.

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification and BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required in radiology
• At least one previous travel assignment completed successfully required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
• Cerner and/or Change Healthcare PACS experience preferred
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Radiology department caring for inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
• Evening shift schedule, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• EMR system is Cerner
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Scrub color is Hunter Green
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and other routine diagnostic procedures
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Collaborate with other professionals within and outside the hospital to support effective patient care
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at this facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
