Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in radiologic technology preferred.
- Certifications Requirements:
- ARRT‑R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- State license to practice radiologic technology in North Carolina
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of radiology technologist experience preferred; open to first‑time travelers for qualified candidates.
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with high patient volumes and diverse patient demographics.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform patient positioning and lifting.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality radiologic imaging services to adult and pediatric patients across diverse departments, including ED, ICU, and outpatient settings.
- Operate and troubleshoot various imaging equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed, GE, and Siemens R/F rooms ensuring optimal image quality.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by correctly positioning patients and adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed within EMR systems like EPIC.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including lead techs, modality supervisors, and department managers, to deliver seamless patient care.
