Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations following established protocols and safety guidelines
• Prepare patients, position them correctly, and monitor for comfort and safety during imaging
• Operate MRI equipment, adjust sequences, and optimize image quality for accurate interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety and contrast administration policies; monitor for adverse events
• Collaborate with radiologists and other radiology team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
• Participate in quality improvement activities, patient satisfaction efforts, and program workflow optimization

Requirements

• Active MRI licensure/permit as required by Georgia state regulations
• ARRT MRI certification or eligibility
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Ability to work in a hospital radiology department and adapt to MRI protocols
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
