Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform CT scanning procedures; set up and monitor CT equipment and transfer/position patients using safe lifting techniques.
• Obtain patient identification and relevant medical history; assess known allergies and pertinent data; administer intravenous contrast as directed by the Radiologist.
• Produce and develop CT images; record studies for permanent file and ensure secure electronic/digital storage and transfer of images.
• Maintain image quality and equipment performance through daily calibration, quality control, and adherence to department protocols; assist with equipment repairs as needed.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast; respond to emergencies and provide basic CPR when required; uphold current safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Assist Radiologists and other physicians with specialized radiological procedures; review patient history and supporting data to aid diagnosis; participate in team training as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years CT imaging experience (required)
• Philips CT equipment experience (required)
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification (required)
• Travel experience (preferred)
• Ability to work nights (3x12‑hour shifts) in a hospital setting
• Eligible to work in the United States; ability to meet the credentialing and onboarding requirements for a travel assignment
