Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform CT procedures and, as needed, general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location; ensure image quality and documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, files and billing information; uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory.
• Carry out other job-related duties as assigned and collaborate with the care team to support patient imaging needs.

Requirements

• ARRT registration with CT credential (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT))
• California Radiologic Technologist license
• CT Advanced Certification
• Fluoroscopy license in CA (required if operating fluoroscopy)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Two years of recent radiology experience; Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
