Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and CT procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director
- Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis with appropriate technique and safety
- Position patients, select imaging protocols, and ensure optimal image quality for diagnostic interpretation
- Operate CT and radiography equipment; verify image quality and document images and patient data accurately
- Maintain radiation safety practices (ALARA), infection control, and equipment readiness; uphold department policies
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required by the department
Requirements
- ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist
- Montana state licensure as Radiologic Technologist and registration with the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists
- Graduation from an ARRT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology; high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of age-appropriate patient care
- Ability to perform radiographic and CT procedures with appropriate supervision; willingness to work a night travel assignment
- Note: In-state Montana travelers will not be considered unless they are more than 250 miles from the facility
