American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital oncology department requiring ARRT (T) certification and 2+ years of experience.

- ARRT (T) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapist experience
- 1 year of travel experience OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA required
- TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department
- 202-bed regional hospital serving 22 counties across northern Michigan
- Uses ARIA for electronic medical records
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with possible transition to 4/10s
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments and perform treatment simulations
- Fabricate necessary shielding blocks and maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments, performing quality control and assurance tests
- Adhere to infection control techniques and radiation safety and protection practices
- Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
- Scrubs of any color permitted
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO may be requested
- Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay
