Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with California RTT license and 3+ years of Radiation Oncology experience for a hospital-based day shift assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• 5x8hr day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a start time
• Performs patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed
• Uses Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ systems preferred
• Uses MOSAIQ for electronic medical records
• Facility has access to up to 36 hours of call-off during the assignment

Requirements

• Active California RTT license required, if applicable
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience required
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred
• Ability to properly setup and align patients using various imaging techniques for radiation therapy delivery
• Ability to assess patient status during direct interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members

Additional Information

• Prepares for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room setup, calculations, and treatment calendar programming
• Works closely with other radiation therapists and team members to complete additional tasks as needed
• Collaborates within a multidisciplinary radiation oncology team

• $3,267/wk
• $42,471 (Assignment Total for 13 Weeks)
• $169,884 (Annual Equivalent for 52 Weeks)
• $1,720/wk (Regular Hours: $43.00 x 40 hours/wk)
• $1,547/wk (Weekly Stipends)
• $1,071 (Lodging: $153.00 x 7 days)
• $476 (Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days)
• $3,267/wk or $3,015/wk local

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $3,015 - $3,267. The $3,267 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
